Welcome to Airport Bragging....

Wouldn't you just love to work at an Airport - minus the angry, tired, disgruntled, annoyed and miserable customers - who are tired of swapping flights, catching transfers, loosing luggage...I mean - the Airport is in fact is kinda a happy place - where tourists are supposedly going on holidays to some far off exotic destination.

But you know what else...airports are also a place which allows all sorts of people to brag...I mean, there are the tourists bragging to the people who are just there and not going anywhere that "they are going on a plane trip to an exotic destination" and then there are the pilots in their uniform with their bragging right of "I know how to fly the plane - you don't" and then there are the air hostess with their little trolleys of God knows what stating "we manage to look refreshed and made up 365/24/7 - you have just come off a 50hr flight from Khuzestan - via India - via China - via Singapore - via Italy - via America - you look like shit compared to us" and then there are the people who work behind the check-in counters with their brag of "be nice to us or if you are mean cause you are dealing with a screaming child and over tired wife - we will purposely place your luggage on a trip to Nepal, when you in fact are only going to Sydney" - then finally their are the ordinary people who are not going anywhere that have the bragging right of - "thank goodness I am going home”….

But nonetheless…at the end of the day – we wish we were all going to somewhere…whether it is a tropical Island or some European country with its magnificent history – so that we can have the ultimate bragging right of when someone says “have you been to this place” and we can turn around and say “I have…but have you?”
